What Founders Build With Next.js: 34 Businesses and What They Earn
34 businesses built with Next.js, from a $186K/mo AI writing tool to a one-person $40K/mo converter: their stacks, hosting costs and traffic sources.
Next.js is the web framework behind a large share of small, fast-moving software businesses. The ProvenStartups index holds 34 revenue-backed businesses built with Next.js; 56% are run by one person, and 16 report $10K a month or more. The framework is never why they earn. It is a sensible default that lets one person ship a site that ranks and an app that charges, then get back to selling.
How we count: a business is listed only if its own interview names Next.js in its stack. On October 17, 2026 we removed 23 entries, most of them tagged only because a suggested-stack note we had written mentioned Next.js, plus apps whose revenue predates their current stack.
