Anshita Mehrotra started Fix My Curls after struggling to find curly-hair products in India. She researched ingredients, worked through eight sample rounds over roughly six months, and launched a five-product routine. The brand built an Instagram audience before launch, then used direct messages, organic posts, consultations, and later Meta ads to turn interest into orders. The founder says the company received 30 purchases in its first month and generated ₹40 lakh in its first year under her mother’s company; the following financial year reached ₹1.2 crore. Customers pushed the company to sell products individually and offer 50 ml trial sizes, which became a hero format. Later, creator affiliates reportedly contributed about ₹2.5–3 lakh in a month when total monthly revenue was around ₹10–12 lakh. The founder also describes scaling through marketplaces and a website, reaching ₹15 crore revenue, and later improving margins. These are founder-reported figures, not audited financials.
