Their own product is the growth test: Florian plugged his community site into it and inside a week it was the third citation in a Google AI Overview and the first answer when an LLM is asked for the best paid community in its category.

Borja Beso built and sold a business before this one: Creative U, a subscription online-course platform for hobby and craft topics — painting, drawing, DIY — started in 2016. He was a Venezuelan student in the US and founded it partly to pursue an investor visa. When he saw his biggest competitor Craftsy get acquired, he cold-emailed that acquirer's CEO hoping to be bought; the CEO replied the next day, offered him a job instead, sorted his paperwork, and let him keep running his own company on the side. He sold Creative U last year and still works as a marketing director there. In mid-2025 he pivoted an earlier project into a growth tool called Rebel Growth, launched in August, and took it from zero to roughly $10K MRR himself using paid ads and growth hacks. Florian Darroman sold his own business for six figures seven months before this video and had been interviewing founders on a podcast since. Borja DM'd him on X looking for a cofounder to take the SaaS from $10K to $200K MRR. Florian accepted, and within one week they had rebranded Rebel Growth to Distribute.io, run beta testers through a new onboarding, and rebuilt the dashboard. Florian's background is ten years of SEO and affiliate marketing — he says he made multiple six figures in supplements and fat-burner affiliate niches, with ranking on Google as his core skill. This entry is episode one of their public build-in-public series.
Borja Beso took the product from zero to roughly $10,000 MRR on his own, and the channel was paid ads plus growth features built into the product itself. He launched it as Rebel Growth in August 2025, pivoted out of earlier projects, and says that is when the first customers started coming in.

Data credibility: Founder build-in-public episode. The revenue figure — 76 active paid users at 'approximately $10,000 MRR' — is stated by the cofounders on camera with no dashboard shown; the ~$130 ARPU is our arithmetic from their two numbers, not a published price. Output volume (42,000 blog articles, 4,000 social posts) is also self-reported. Borja's prior exit (Creative U, sold last year) and Florian's ('sold my business for six figures seven months ago') are stated without amounts or documentation for the first and without a specific number for the second. The strongest evidence in the video is the dogfooding demo, where Florian shows his own community site as the third citation in a Google AI Overview and the top LLM answer for a narrow query — verifiable at the time of recording, but on a low-competition long-tail term. No pricing tiers, costs, margins, or churn were disclosed. The $200K MRR target is an aspiration, not a projection based on data.
Revenue is a straightforward subscription with a free trial, and the disclosed position is 76 active paid users at approximately $10,000 MRR — about $130 per user per month, which is arithmetic off those two numbers rather than a published price.
Three loops are running. The first the founders describe outright: they test every new growth technique on distribute.io itself, and whatever works ships as a customer feature.
Borja's quiet stretch runs across years rather than months. He started Creative U in 2016, a subscription course platform for crafts, painting and DIY, and did not sell it until last year.
