01The Full Arc: $100K ARR Rolled Out of One Viral TikTok

This project started with a TikTok video and a highly dramatic premise: Robbie wired his own AI agent $200 and told it to “figure out how to survive and make money on its own,” documenting the whole live experiment. That serialized “AI fights for its own survival” narrative hit a million views, and a single video added 15,000 followers. The comments went off — roughly 200 people said “I want one of these too.” Robbie didn't impulsively start building on a hunch; he used Apify to scrape the comment data and verify the demand was real, then publicly posted a video saying “Ron [the AI character] told me to clone him and give copies to you.” Demand validation, product launch, and narrative progression were all folded into the same content thread. Then came the pre-sale: his partner Stan put a reservation link on the TikTok profile with a mandatory $10 deposit to filter out the people who were only cheering from the sidelines. In two weeks they collected 617 reservations at $10. With validation in hand, they opened a proper $29/mo subscription, and 270 of those people converted to paying customers. On a podcast, the host read the numbers off Stan's dashboard live: MRR $8,374, just 13 days after launch — roughly $100K ARR annualized, with about $6,000/mo in net profit. All of it with zero paid advertising and zero cold outreach, purely by posting videos — including having the anthropomorphized raccoon character “Ron” personally appear on camera to pitch the product.
