Megaport sells Network-as-a-Service: a customer with equipment in a data center can connect it to public cloud providers through a portal and pay for the services used. CEO Vincent English described a global network linking 197 cloud-provider locations, including Microsoft, AWS, Google, and Oracle. The company had more than 1,800 customers at the end of June, from Fortune 500 firms to smaller businesses. Its FY2020 revenue reached $58 million, up 66%, while North America grew 94%, APAC 54%, and Europe 36%. Megaport ended the year with more than $160 million in cash after two capital raises and reported a $19.9 million EBITDA loss. Management pointed to improving gross margin and targeted EBITDA break-even on an exit-rate basis for June 2021. That target was a forecast, not a result established in this interview. This is a scale reference in a capital-heavy infrastructure market, not a low-cost software clone.

The figures are public-company results cited in the interview; I have not rechecked the filing here. The June 2021 EBITDA break-even figure was management’s forecast, not a reported outcome.
