LeagueApps provides youth-sports organizations with registration, payment processing, program management, schedules, messaging, mobile apps and websites. CEO Brian Litvack says the company began in 2010 after an earlier community product, Sportsvite, brought the founders into contact with sports organizers who needed better operating tools. LeagueApps built payments on Stripe and earns through a share of payment processing rather than a standard monthly SaaS fee. The interview cites more than 3,000 leagues on the platform and says it took nine years to process $1 billion in cumulative volume; the host’s closing recap repeats that cumulative milestone. Litvack described a goal of reaching a $1 billion annual transaction run rate and more than 50% growth, but clarified that the company does not disclose GMV. He also said the company had about 90 employees and had a profitable third quarter during the pandemic period discussed.
