Turn Bible GPT from a Q&A tool into emotional companionship that asks you questions back, aimed at the audience technology reaches last
Fewer bars = easier, cheaper, or faster for an AI-assisted solo builder. Editorial judgments based on the case details.
Founder Lots is from London and used to work in investment banking before starting his own VC-backed company, which he ran for three and a half years before it failed. In his words, that period was spent licking his wounds — he'd raised venture capital and still ended up broke. In 2022, right as GPT was being commercialized, he decided to switch to small apps and fast iteration. Bible Buddy was the first project on that build-and-flip path, and it accidentally became the origin point of his entire build-to-flip methodology. That origin matters: he didn't come in thinking 'this app is going to be my life's work'. He asked himself from the start, 'is this legacy or cash flow?' The answer was cash flow, and every decision after that — how simple the product is, how clean the backend is, when to sell — served the goal of being easy to sell. Understand that and you understand how he can run an emotional-companionship app as a liquid asset rather than a business he has to defend forever.

The individual monthly revenue is never broken out in the video, so no number is invented here. All revenue figures are founder-reported or estimated by the video creator, unaudited.
