The whole process hands both steps — finding the product gap and producing the finished product — to AI, so you don't have to be an expert and barely have to write anything. It starts with using ChatGPT deep research to find a gap. The prompt in the video is roughly: "give me an untapped idea for a complete beginner who wants to sell a digital product in a market that isn't too saturated," letting it sweep hundreds of websites to surface an obscure direction people will pay for. The example the video produces is vintage bag rescue — a guide to restoring secondhand leather bags: a group of women love thrifting vintage bags but are afraid of ruining them, and they need exactly this kind of guide on how to safely clean, maintain, and repair them. The need is very real, yet nobody serves it specifically. Once the gap is found, step two also goes to AI: have ChatGPT first generate "the prompt for producing this product," then drop that into a new conversation and have the model write the entire book word for word, and finally format it into a sellable PDF. Selling runs on Instagram Reels: post "silly little short videos" every day, prompt viewers to comment a keyword, then DM the product straight to them (closing in the DMs), all of which can be done without showing your face. The video relays a story about a woman selling an Excel-tutorial PDF who "allegedly did $3M in revenue" — but that's a secondhand account of someone else's product with no documentation, so treat it purely as a model reference.
