Abbify is an ecommerce back-office platform that centralizes orders across social commerce and storefront channels such as Shopify and Etsy. Founder Pedro Gutierrez said sellers needed a way to synchronize operations rather than manage each channel separately. His team had been running an agency that generated about $30,000 a month, and developed Abbify as a pilot beginning in February 2021. After five months of iteration, it officially launched in July. The agency’s ecommerce development reputation in Central America helped the founders reach potential customers. They offered a free month, interviewed users, and sold the product during customer conversations. The agency shut down in December after Abbify was accepted into 500 Startups, and the team moved fully to the product in January. At the interview date, the company had more than 100 customers and $3,500 monthly revenue, with early customers on a $29 legacy price and new basic-plan customers paying $49 per month. Pedro reported 1.5% churn and month-over-month growth of 22–25%. The team had 12 people, including four founders and six engineers. It attracted leads through free workshops on funnels, finance, paid media, and content creation for businesses moving from offline sales to ecommerce.
