Text Request is B2B software that lets businesses manage text conversations as a team. It expanded from shared SMS into reviews, payments, and related messaging products. Co-founders Brian and Rob built the company without outside investment. The founder said the business crossed $10M ARR the prior year and was aiming for about $15M ARR by the end of the interview year. It served about 6,000 businesses, roughly 15,000 locations, and 50,000 users, with 40 employees. The first million ARR took about five years. The company began with a restaurant service idea, then found stronger willingness to pay among franchise brands and home-service businesses. By 2020 it had crossed $3M ARR, and later growth accelerated as the product expanded and competitors exited or changed direction.

The $15M ARR figure was a target for the end of that year, not a confirmed result; the founder said the company had crossed $10M ARR in the prior year.
