Enterprise teams build and govern private AI agents on one platform, with large annual contracts funding the product.
32 enterprise customers · 80,000 builders · 95% gross margin (founder-reported)
“If you make your partner win, they will take care of building the pipeline for you.” Lyzr’s enterprise route depends on giving systems integrators a platform they can deliver to their own customers.
Fewer bars = easier, cheaper, or faster for an AI-assisted solo builder. Editorial judgments based on the case details.
Siva Surendira started Lyzr in 2023 after building Powerup Cloud, an AWS consulting firm he sold in 2019, and leading an AWS business unit whose revenue he said grew from $65M to $220M in under two and a half years. Lyzr’s first product analyzed executive data, then the company pivoted within three months toward enterprise infrastructure for building and governing agents. In 2024 the team used an open-source AI SDR called Jazon to prove demand, but shut the SDR product after seeing that it could send email more reliably than book meetings. Lyzr Agent Studio launched in January 2025 with a $10,000 annual plan and 23 customers in its first quarter. The founder reported $12M ARR at Q2 2026, 32 enterprise customers, 80,000 builders, and 95% gross margin. The broader offer includes developer and business-user agent builders plus Lyzr Optimus, an on-prem appliance. These figures are founder-reported; the central strategic move was from a failed agent promise to the shared deployment platform underneath it.
Lyzr’s first customer path started with an open-source wedge, not a top-down platform pitch. The team released Jazon, an AI sales development agent built on its framework, then seeded it on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

Data credibility: The CEO reported ARR, customer counts, builder counts, gross margin, deal sizes, pilot conversion, and growth projections in an interview. The revenue and operating figures are founder-reported and were not independently audited in the interview. The $4M AI SDR figure was contracted ARR tied to AWS-supported pilots, not a statement of cash collected; the year-end figures were projections, including a $50M outcome contingent on a government deal.
During the first experiment, Lyzr turned Jazon demand into $4M of contracted ARR in three months.
Lyzr’s growth loop links an open-source agent, inbound demand, enterprise proof, and partner distribution. Jazon gave developers a tangible first use case; social seeding and SEO created attention, with the founder reporting 400 inbound leads a month and a 60% demo conversion rate in 2024.
Lyzr entered 2024 with zero revenue while testing the first product, then received demand for Jazon and contracted $4M ARR for AI SDR pilots. The founders also learned from customer use that the central promise—automatically booking meetings—did not hold up.
