Folderly grew out of Belkins, the founders’ outbound sales agency. The agency managed roughly 500 to 1,000 mailboxes for about 200 clients when a deliverability problem caused open rates to fall from around 70% to 5%, with replies and meetings collapsing. Vladislav Podolyako investigated technical setup, domains, mailbox configuration, sending tools, content, and lead quality, then saw an opportunity to productize the work. Folderly helps users understand and address email deliverability problems. The founder said they initially fixed issues manually for clients before the full MVP existed, charging for that work and reinvesting it into development. He reported around 100 customers, about $200 per month as a minimum subscription, and average customer spending near $1,500 per month as accounts expanded. Monthly recurring revenue was described as somewhat under $150,000, with the host clarifying it as about $130,000. The company was around nine months old, bootstrapped, and reported about 20% profit in the prior month. It had a 20-person team, including seven engineers, with a separate agency business providing expertise and resources.
